Why do you do what you do?
Because we believe we live in a global community and that education is the right of every child, not the privilege of a few.
Who will my donation be paid to?
All funds go to a Canadian non-governmental organization called A Nation's Cry.
How will my donation be used?
Your donation will help buy builiding materials, pay the trades people, provide clean water, buy school books and computers, and scholarships. Updates on progress and purchases are posted regularly under Projects.
How much of my donation actually goes directly towards the projects?
100%. June runs We Plant the Seeds at her own expense. Management, travel, and fundraising are her personal contributions to the projects.
Can I see proof of the allocation of funds?
Yes. Documentation can be made available for those who would like to see it.
What about my personal safety in the area, if I choose to volunteer on location?
June will put you in touch with people who will help ensure your safety. You won't be alone.
Do I need to be able to speak Spanish?
Knowing the basics of the language is helpful, but not necessary. Interpreters can be made available if required.
