What we do

We empower...

"Give a man a fish and you feed him for a day. Teach a man to fish and you feed him for a lifetime."

We work in helping the very poor build schools for children that would never get an education.
Everybody does their part. We provide the guidance, materials, supervision and skilled people.

The village itself accepts the responsibility of doing the actual manual labour. Everyone contributes, men, women, and children. With their help we build the school. Without their help, we can't do it; its all dependant on them doing their part.

When the school is built and children are in desks, we don't stop caring. Once a year, I personally visit the school to motivate, encourage and reward those that are attending faithfully and studying at their best.

Every year, l bring shoes to the village for the children, clothes that are sadly needed, educational equipment, puzzles, games, and computers. For the highest achievers, l supply school backpacks, usually their only possession. I do this by collecting the goods through the year, and raising funds to buy in the country, (often cheaper than here in Canada).
